Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing technique that has been around since the mid 1800s. Reiki is a healing technique based on the principle that a reiki therapist can channel energy into the patient to activate natural healing responses and restore physical/emotional well being in the body.
In simple terms, Reiki is an energy healing & relaxation technique.

How Does A Reiki Session Work?
A reiki session works similar to a massage session. The therapist may or may not physically touch the body in a series of hand positions (We always ask permission to touch). The therapist may also channel reiki energy by simply placing their hands above the patient in certain areas. The patient is fully clothed and is usually lying down on a massage table, while the reiki therapist channels energy into their field. The therapist is able to clear “stuck” energy and provide healing energy to the body.
A reiki therapist will usually play calming music, diffuse essential oils, use a variety of crystals, and other holistic/calming techniques during the session. The energy healing is gentle and relaxing (You may even fall asleep!) You will feel the healing benefits of reiki immediately and days after the session.
